PASTOR
Adam Meredith
Lead Pastor
Adam accepted the call to pastor RVBC in 2023. He and his family moved to Nellysford from Pennsylvania, where he had previously pastored for 12 years. Adam is a PhD student in Biblical Studies with Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Yale and a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia International University.
Adam and his wife Danielle have 3 sons, Graham, Davis, and Sullivan, and a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog named Duncan. They are glad to be connected with this wonderful church and invite you to come worship Christ together with us!
ELDERS
David Thomas
Elder
David Thomas is a lifelong resident of Nelson County, VA. He has been attending and a member of Rockfish Valley Baptist Church for approximately twenty years and was ordained as an Elder in 2016.
David owned a trucking and excavating business for 22 years before becoming the Road Maintenance Supervisor for a local property owners association in 2017. David has been happily married to his wife, Pam for twenty five years. They have two daughters and six grandchildren.

Mike Friedlein
Elder
Mike was ordained an Elder at RVBC in 2016. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and a Master of Arts in both Management and Human Relations from Webster University in St Louis, Missouri. Mike was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force in 1979 and served in various command and staff positions for 27 years. After careers in the Federal government, Mike and his wife Janie retired to Nellysford in 2010.
